Design and Development Lab
Emmfarm’s in-house Product Design Department develops reliable and performance-focused agricultural implements for modern farming needs. Our engineering team uses advanced software such as SolidWorks, PLM and SolidCAM to ensure precise design, efficient development and consistent manufacturing quality.
Emmfarm invests approximately 2% of its annual turnover in research and development, supporting continuous product improvement, stronger performance and practical innovation for farmers.
Metallurgy Lab
Emmfarm’s advanced Metallurgy Lab supports consistent material quality, strength and durability across every product. Equipped with microscopes with image analysers, Micro Vickers hardness testers, Rockwell and Brinell hardness testers, a spectrometer, a 200-ton universal testing machine and portable hardness testers, the facility enables detailed evaluation of raw materials and finished components. These testing capabilities help verify chemical composition, microstructure, hardness and mechanical strength, ensuring dependable product performance and long-term reliability.
Quality Inspection Lab
Emmfarm’s Quality Inspection Lab is designed to maintain dimensional accuracy, surface quality and consistent performance across every manufactured component. The facility supports detailed inspection at different stages of production, helping ensure that each part meets defined engineering and quality standards.
Equipped with a Coordinate Measuring Machine, gear testing machine, vision measuring machine, Contracer, roughness tester and 2D height master, the lab enables precise measurement of critical dimensions, profiles, gear geometry and surface finish. These capabilities help ensure reliable fit, smooth operation and long-term product performance.
Forging
Emmfarm’s advanced forging facility is equipped to manufacture strong and reliable components with consistent material flow, dimensional accuracy and superior mechanical properties. The process supports the production of durable parts designed to withstand demanding agricultural and industrial applications.
The facility includes 4-inch and 6-inch upset forging machines with induction bar heaters, a 1600-ton Voronezh mechanical forging press with an induction billet heater, an Enomoto 400-ton servo friction screw press. These capabilities enable efficient high-strength forging with controlled quality, repeatability and dependable performance.
Heat Treatment
Emmfarm’s Heat Treatment Facility is designed to improve the hardness, strength, wear resistance and service life of critical components. Controlled heating and cooling processes help achieve consistent metallurgical properties, ensuring dependable performance under demanding agricultural operating conditions.
The facility includes CNC medium- and high-frequency induction hardening machines, gas carburizing furnaces and a SCADA-based continuous plant for hardening, tempering, normalizing and iso-thermal annealing. With a processing capacity of up to 600 kg per hour, the setup supports precise process control, uniform treatment quality and reliable production output.
Machine Shop
Emmfarm’s Machine Shop is equipped to manufacture precision components with accurate dimensions, consistent profiles and dependable surface quality. The facility supports complex machining operations for gears, shafts, splines and other critical parts used in agricultural equipment.
Its capabilities include horizontal and vertical machining centres, CNC turning and turn-mill machines, CNC gear hobbing and gear shaving, spline hobbing and rolling machines, tooth rounding, 20-ton broaching, thread grinding, internal grinding, CNC angular-head and universal grinding, along with an automatic component washing line.
Blade Manufacturing Plant
A fully robotic blade manufacturing line ensures exceptional precision, consistency and efficiency at every stage. Advanced automation, controlled forming processes and temperature monitored operations deliver accurate blade profiles, superior strength and uniform quality.
The result is reduced vibration, improved fuel efficiency, extended service life and dependable performance in the toughest agricultural environments.
Laser Cutting
Emmfarm’s Laser Cutting Facility ensures precise and consistent cutting of rotavator components with excellent dimensional accuracy and clean edge quality. The advanced process supports complex shapes and detailed profiles while reducing material wastage and maintaining uniformity across every part.
All rotavator parts are cut using laser cutting machines, helping achieve accurate fitment, faster production and reliable product quality. This precision-driven capability supports efficient assembly and dependable performance in demanding field conditions.
Bending Machiene
Emmfarm’s Bending Facility uses advanced press brake technology to achieve accurate bends, consistent angles and precise component profiles. The HAWK Press Brake from Hindustan Hydraulics is a fully automatic machine designed to improve productivity while maintaining uniform bending quality across manufactured parts.
The machine operates at an approaching speed of 170 mm/sec, a bending speed of 15 mm/sec and a return speed of 160 mm/sec. This high-speed, precision-controlled process supports efficient production, reduced variation and reliable fitment during assembly.
Rotor Welding SPM
Emmfarm’s Rotor Welding SPM is designed for accurate and consistent welding of rotavator rotor assemblies. The specialized machine maintains proper alignment, uniform spacing and controlled weld quality, helping create strong rotor structures capable of handling continuous field loads and demanding working conditions.
By automating the welding process, the system improves production speed, repeatability and dimensional accuracy while reducing manual variation. This results in stronger joints, smoother rotor operation and dependable long-term performance.
Shot Blasting
Emmfarm’s Shot Blasting Facility is used to clean and prepare metal components before painting and finishing. The process removes rust, scale, dirt and surface impurities, creating a clean and uniform texture that improves paint adhesion and overall finish quality.
This controlled surface-treatment process helps increase coating durability, reduce the risk of corrosion and provide a consistent appearance across rotavator parts and other agricultural components.
Pre Treatment
Emmfarm’s Pre-Treatment Plant prepares rotavator components for painting through a controlled iron-phosphating process. After shot blasting, the parts are thoroughly cleaned and treated to remove remaining surface contaminants while creating a uniform phosphate layer.
This process improves paint adhesion, enhances corrosion resistance and helps achieve a smooth, durable finish. By ensuring proper surface preparation before painting, the facility supports better coating quality and longer product life.
Powder Coating
Our fully automatic conveyorised powder coating system from Gema, Switzerland delivers a uniform, high quality finish with exceptional precision and consistency. Advanced application technology ensures superior coating adhesion, enhanced corrosion resistance and lasting surface protection.
Every component receives a durable finish that improves product longevity, maintains appearance and withstands demanding agricultural environments.
Final Assembly
Emmfarm’s Final Assembly section brings together all manufactured and quality-checked components to complete the finished agricultural implement. Each part is assembled with proper alignment, accurate fitment and controlled fastening to ensure smooth operation and dependable structural strength.
The completed machine undergoes detailed inspection and functional checks before dispatch. This process helps verify overall performance, safety, finish quality and readiness for demanding field conditions.
In House Testing
Every Emmfarm machine undergoes rigorous in-house testing before dispatch. Built with controlled alignment and defined torque standards, each product is inspected through alignment verification, vibration analysis, leakage testing and trial performance runs.
This structured quality process ensures consistent accuracy, dependable performance and complete operational readiness for demanding agricultural applications.
In House Warehouse
Our warehouse ensures complete traceability and efficient inventory management. Every component is identified with its lot number, heat number, production date and inspection status.
A strict First In, First Out system, colour coded lot control and dedicated storage zones ensure accurate inventory rotation, organised material handling and reliable dispatch with zero compromise on quality.
